Cuisinart Smart Power Blender
can you put chopped carrots in a blender and expect to get them the proper consistency of juice?
i have a recipe for a juice with carrot and celery in it, and i dont want to go out and buy a juicer because a) they are kind of expensive, and b) blending foods retains the fiber. the blender i have is a cuisinart smart power duet, the blades are in pretty good shape.
No, a blender won't liquidize your carrots. You will need to buy some carrot juice, which is much cheaper than a juicer.

I have a small gourmet kitchen food grinder model #nt-0216a. It works very well and I depend on it to grind my food since i have a swallowing problem.
The problem is the plastic food grinder cup has been cracked and I’m not sure how much longer it will last.
Question, are replacement parts available to purchase and do you have a price list?
I appreciate your efforts in this matter and am looking forward to your response………Thanks…..Bill Startt
