which type of fuse should I use in the plug for a 240v food processor?
I have a 15 year old Braun food processor, now without a plug. I am not sure which strength of fuse to put in the plug - 13 amp or 5 amp? There is no earth wire.
If you don't have the manual to check you could probably download one but there's a much easier solution.
There's a golden rule with fuses, no appliance can be damaged by using a too low an amp fuse, while it is possible with too high a one, so if in doubt use the 5 amp.
